 Nippon-ink Cartridge - New Patent Design for T0 73 Series


Before Installation of Nippon-ink Cartridges

  1. Ensure you read, understand and accept the terms and conditions stated on the cartridge box (back portion), similar instruction sheet attached inside the box and the web instruction specify on Nippon-ink Homepage.

  2. Once the cartridge seal is tear open, it considers as agreed and acceptance.

  3. Goods sold are not exchangeable, returnable nor refundable unless on quality issue due to manufacturer defects that need our Technician to verify and confirm.

During Installation Process



  1. The 2 pieces new patent design is to avoid any copyright infringement issue.

  2. Once the seal is tears open, hold the Cartridge Holder Upright to slot in the Cartridge by pushing the Cartridge downward till it fully engage as one whole piece. Thereafter remove the Yellow Label before install into your printer and function as per normal. Refer to the picture shown below for your reference and self-explanatory.

  3. Follow the Manufacturer Manual and Printer Wizard instruction shown on PC screen to initiate the process step by step respectively.

  4. Insert the Cartridge into the correct color chamber of the printer holder till you hear a “Click” sound to ensure proper installation.

  5. The Printer Wizard might indicate that “This is not genuine Epson’s cartridge, do you want to continue” Click “Yes” to continue as per normal.

  6. Upon completion do a print head cleaning process and do a nozzle check to ensure the nozzle are not block, clog and/or dried up result in print head been harden.

  7. The printout is either in dotted lines or rectangular patches by individual color. Any clog and blockage of print head result in missing dotted lines or blanks.

  8. For minor clog and blockage, let the ink soaks into the print head for at least one-hour before you do another cleaning process and compare the result. If the situation remains as before chances is that you need to send your printer for servicing.

  9. The Epson’s print head is built-in unable to remove by any unauthorized personnel. The clog and blockage is cause by the dirt accumulation from the paper media. In such incident 100% using Original cartridges still encounter similar problem.

  10. Nippon-ink Recommendation to User (Simple Periodic Maintenance):

  • High Frequency User – Clean print head after last copy.

  • Low Frequency User – Clean print head at least once a month or print some copy. Do not leave it there without any maintenance.

  • Do not let the Print Head Dried and Harden – Replace empty cartridge immediately, once the computer indicate the ink level is “Empty”.

  1. To prevent ink wastage, switch off printer when not in use and place in cool area.
